Sarah believes in driving sustainable value and competitive advantage for a company through long-term strategic relationships with partners and suppliers. This makes business easy, while also protecting reputation and resiliency. She is passionate about building procurement functions as high-performing teams through diversity, equity, inclusion and great behaviours and culture. This approach aligns well with her chief procurement officer (CPO) role at Nationwide Building Society and their core purpose of “banking, but fairer, more rewarding and for the good of society”, delivering member value along with service and operational excellence.

Before joining Nationwide, Sarah was the CPO at London Stock Exchange Group and Worldpay. Before that, she worked in technology and change across business consulting, IT strategy and implementation, and IT solutions delivery.
